Ellerhorst's Walk-A-Thon raises much needed funds for the school and encourages students to make walking exercise part of healthy routine for life.

This is a wonderful school in a great town and our community thrives when we all participate. Everyone values and appreciates a good education for their children; be part of the effort to promote healthy exercise and support Ellerhorst Elementary, make your tax deductible donation today. 100% of the money raised at this event will be used to fund Ellerhorst enrichment programs and school equipment. The money raised directly benefits all students in so many ways! The PTA funding gives our teachers a budget to purchase much needed items in the classroom, purchases new PE sports equipment, sponsors enrichment activities like Family Art Nights and the Spelling Bee, purchases new library books, funds the 6th grade graduation celebration, and assists in funding field trips for all grades. The PTA also arranges and funds many other extra-curricular activities; many students show off their talents in the annual Talent Show and their creativity during the Science Fair.
