Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers on Friday, October 6th and running my best at the Hill Elementary 10th Annual Jog-A-Thon. This event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched with Science, Art, Reading, Math and other programs that are essential but no longer provided by our education system.

I would appreciate it (and so would my 330 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Thanks in advance for your support!

About this fundraiser:

Hill families are part of a world class elementary school with teachers, staff and families that are dedicated to the students. One of the reasons Hill Husky students are such successful students and enjoy school is because their families are invested in their education. The Hill PTO benefits all students by providing wonderful enrichment opportunities that the school district cannot pay for. Supporting the Hill PTO gives Hill families and friends an opportunity to make a difference in the programs for all students.

The PTO wants to help Hill provide the very best education experience for all students. THE JOG-A-THON IS HILL’S BIGGEST & MOST IMPORTANT FUNDRAISER. We rely so heavily on it that we can’t finalize our budget until after the
Jog-A-Thon. If we meet our goals of the Jog-A-Thon, then we will be able to SAY YES to a majority of the teacher fund requests. But we can only do this with your help.

The PTO spends on average $85/student. We are setting a goal of raising $75/student with the Jog-A-Thon so we can continue to pay for all the student enrichment programs and teacher supply requests. However, we do not want to cause any hardships for families to meet this goal. No donation is too small and every bit helps.

We can’t have all the fun programs at Hill without these monetary donations. Your support is truly appreciated.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • Around $6,500 in classroom enrichment expenses
  • $3,500 Major purchases the district is not able to provide
  • Around $2,600 for student magazine & RAZ-Kids subscriptions
  • Additional support for each of the teachers classrooms
  • $2,500 in assemblies to promote fun learning experiences
  • $1,000 for events like the family picnic & variety show
  • Much More!!!
