The Hawkeye’s mission, as a designated open public forum faithfully serving our audience since 1960, is to provide the MTHS community with quality, thought-provoking, student produced publications.

The Hawkeye is a student-centered, student-managed organization where learning thrives and students are honored for the important work they produce. Since its inception in 1960, The Hawkeye has enjoyed a national reputation as one of the top publications. We believe that this is because of the incredible students who work on the publication, the awesome staff and school administration who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning, and more importantly the incredible support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support.
