Help spread the word

About this fundraiser:

Inspired by Library Mini-Golf and 'I Read Past My Bedtime' community fundraising events, two local kids decided that even the youngest of bookworms can make a big impact and help raise money for a new library for Littleton.

This ‘Reader for Life’ Read-a-thon was created with the support of The Friends of the Reuben Hoar LIbrary. Participants of all ages will read at least 20 minutes a day during July (10 hours of reading!) and gather pledges of support for their effort. Money raised in this fundraiser will help the Friends meet their $1 million fundraising goal for the new library.

The new ADA compliant library building will have an enlarged Children’s Room, a dedicated Teen Room, four quiet study rooms, additional meeting spaces, and more computers and will support our community for decades to come.

Please know that no amount is too small. Your support and encouragement of our ‘Readers for Life’ are both truly appreciated.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • Building a new ADA compliant library in Littleton!
  • Larger Children's Room!
  • Dedicated Teen Room!
  • Expanded Adult Sections!
  • Quiet study rooms and more meeting space!
  • Additional computers!
