About this fundraiser:

2020 Move-a-Thon update!

Wow, what a spring this has been. Along with all the other disruptions and missing out on being at school, we are missing our favorite fundraiser. We will schedule the actual event next September when we can all move, skip, and dance together again (minus our Class of 2020 5th-grade friends). Boo. But we’ll have a reunion of some kind!

We have discussed the best way forward with MAT and have come up with this plan:

We will open up the fundraising again until MAY 15th, 2020 so that we can raise the money needed for our NEW MUSIC PROGRAM and GARDEN RANGER PROGRAM!* Winners will be announced by the end of the school year, and we will figure out how to distribute the prizes!

We know that some of the people you were hoping to ask for donations may or may not be able to contribute now. That’s okay. But if you still have people to ask who CAN donate, now is the time. We still want to launch our music program despite our set-backs!

Some good news: To help us reach our goal, we had a music-loving angel benefactor swoop in and donate a large sum to our school. We are going to split that among EVERY STUDENT so that they will all meet the $10 minimum and every class will reach 100% participation. Hopefully, that will motivate you to add to your total if you can!

You’ll be able to see your total by entering your name on this page. Fifth graders, you are still eligible for all prizes and drawings, so don’t give up! GREAT WORK to those who have raised money so far! Some of you are breaking records! Way to go!

*We raise funds to continue to support the TLE Garden Ranger Program (our very own outdoor classroom that teaches our children about science, the environment, and art through a garden-based curriculum) AND this year we are hoping to bring a year-round, weekly music education program for all students next school year!
