About this fundraiser:

The Susan La Vorgna PTA is a parent group with a mission to positively impact the lives of all children and families by promoting the welfare of youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community. We strive to raise the standards of home life and promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth. We organize and plan, not only fundraisers, but free family engagement events throughout the school year. Just last year, our organization donated $30,000 to the school for field trips and classroom supplies. This year, with the over $14M budget cut the district faced, our organization wants to provide more student assemblies to make up for the reduced visual and performing arts program affected by the cuts.

The Susan La Vorgna Elementary School PTA will be holding its annual Fun Run on Friday, September 21st for all 900 students and their families. This is our one big fundraiser for the year and our goal is to raise $50,000 for not only field trips, but also to fund an art program, school chorus and running club.

We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support are both truly appreciated.
