Every day at Ridge Road School, there are children in different grades and classes who are unable to play alongside their friends at recess due to the limited accessibility of our current playground.

This year the Ridge Road PTA, along with our First Selectman, Mike Freda and the town of North Haven, is raising funds to build a new inclusive and accessible playground for children of all ages, sizes, physical and intellectual abilities. An inclusive and accessible playground means ALL children may play and be engaged, active, and safe in that space together. This new playground will meet ADA requirements and will be used by all children at Ridge Road, and in the North Haven community.

Let's Celebrate our Super Spellers!

Every student at Ridge Road will participate in a school-wide "Super Spellers SOAR!" Spell-a-thon on January 26, 2018. Together, with the support of their family and friends, each student will have an opportunity to make a big impact on the success of our playground project.

How It Works:
Make a pledge to encourage super spelling, and help us raise money for a new playground.

Important Dates:
January 26: Super Spellers SOAR! Spell-a-thon day. All students will participate with a 20 word spelling test given by their teacher. (Number and level of words based on grade)
February 16: Final day to turn in donations and make online donations.
