Dear Friends, Family & Community members,

I am about to journey into the world of books and read as many minutes as I can for the Annual Polaris Read-a-thon. We will begin counting minutes on May 5th and continue until May 19th. This event raises money to support our school’s Parent Teacher Organization, the Polaris Educational Foundation and all of the amazing events they organize throughout the year for us students. Things like movie nights, family potlucks, school dances, back to school celebrations and more! We even have prizes for the classroom with the most minutes read, prizes for everyone who reads the 420 minutes, and Barnes & Noble gift cards for students who raise at least 30 dollars during the read-a-thon!

I would appreciate it a lot if you could help support me.

About this fundraiser:

This fundraiser is designed to encourage the students to read and build literacy skills, while raising money to support the operation of the Polaris Educational Foundation and events such as school dances, movie nights, End-of-Year Picnic and more!

You can sponsor a student by making a flat donation or can pledge an amount for each minute the student reads. Any child who raises at least $30 will receive a % of their total raised in the form of Barnes & Noble gift cards to buy books of their choice.
