Dear Friends and Family,

On Saturday, April 25th, Cambrian Park Little League (where I play baseball) is having their annual Hit-A-Thon fundraiser. Each player collects pledges from friends, family, and neighbors. This money helps keep player fees down -- currently, Cambrian Park has the lowest registration of all the local leagues. The money raised also goes toward field upkeep and uniforms. You can pledge a per-foot amount, and the final pledge will be calculated based on where the ball stops, OR you can pledge a set amount like $10, $20, or however much you want. The goal is for every player to raise a minimum of $40. Players that raise $60 or more will earn a 60th Anniversary T-shirt. There are also prizes for players who raise the most money, have the longest hit, or hit a target.

The CPLL Hit-a-thon Festival and Fundraiser (Saturday, April 25th) is lots of fun for everyone! Jumpers, giant slide, obstacle course, speed pitch, face painting, raffle, great food, CPLL merchandise, and more. The players show off their hitting skills, and then they get to dunk their coach in the Dunk Tank. There are great prizes for Most Money Raised and Longest Hit in each division, and each team can win a big ice cream party at the end of the season with 100% Participation. CPLL is a culture in which coaches, parents, fans, umpires, and athletes work together to aspire to be an outstanding community-based organization by upholding the Little League virtues of character, courage, loyalty, and community.
