Dear Friends and Family,

My softball team Goleta Thunder has a dream. . . . . .To compete in Western Nationals this summer in Portland, Oregon.

In order to make that dream come true, my team and I need your help! Goleta Thunder is a group of 11 motivated girls that love the game of fast pitch softball. We practice 4 days a week and plan on playing in 12 tournaments in the next 90 days in order to prepare for Western Nationals.

That's why I am lacing up my cleats on June 26th to participate in our very own hit-a-thon. I will be given 20 pitches from a machine set at 50 MPH in anticipation that I will "hit" 10 fair balls. As the donor, you can pledge per hit or a single amount. What's important is no amount is too small. Every dollar is important to the success of my team this summer.

Goleta Valley Girls Softball Association was established in 1978. GVGSA has been a leader in girls fast pitch softball in Santa Barbara and Goleta. GVGSA has won or placed in the top 4 of several Western Nationals tournaments throughout the years and continues to establish themselves as a leader in girls fast pitch softball in California.
