Dear Friends and Family,

I am diving into my books and reading my best for Marlboro School's Reading Challenge. I'm excited to be a part of it because this event will raise money to bring authors to our small school. It is so exciting to meet an author in person and learn about how they write the books I love. This year, we have a grant that will pay some costs for author Susan Hood to travel to our school in April, but this reading challenge will help us pay for the rest of those costs and future author visits.

I'm going to read as much as I can for the next three weeks, and I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my goal. Will you help by making a pledge for each book that I read or making a single donation?

Thank you for all of your support and encouragement!

About this fundraiser:

Literacy and reading are the heart of Marlboro School. Students in all grades are excited about reading and writing. You can help keep students reading and learning by pledging to make a per book donation or single flat donation. Either one will encourage your special student to reach their individual goal, and help to bring more literacy activities to our small school. Help our community meet our goal and keep students reading.

Your donations will help pay for:

  • Author visits
  • Student-friendly library furniture
  • Library activity fund
