I am excited to be participating in Ridgefield Little League's 2017 Hit-a-Thon to be held on March 18 at Abrams Park. This event will raise money for our league to help keep registration fees low, buy equipment and uniforms and maintain fields.

About this fundraiser:

Ridgefield Little League is excited for the 3rd annual Hit-a-thon fundraiser to be held on Opening Day - March 18, 2017. Proceeds from our fundraising will go towards the Fieldhouse Insulation and Heating project, T-Ball/PeeWee field upgrades,
new equipment & uniforms, and general maintenance and upkeep of our facilities and fields.

Here's how it works:

Players will ask their family and friends to pledge either a flat amount (ex. $10 or $20) OR on a per foot basis. We will take the players longest hit out of 3 hits and multiply it by the amount of the pledge. (ft x pledge = donation) Example of a .20 cent/foot pledge (100 feet) x (20 cents) = $20.00 donation to the program. Younger little leaguers will usually hit from 30-100 ft. Older Little leaguers could hit from 100 ft to 200 ft. All home runs on Baseball or Softball field will be counted as 215 ft.
