99Pledges and RallyUp are both free fundraising platforms that help groups increase their peer-to-peer event revenue. However, while RallyUp is a good choice for experienced fundraisers like enterprise nonprofits, 99Pledges appeals to schools, youth sports teams, and other local groups who want a smoother, stress-free fundraising experience.
99Pledges provides the user-friendliness and dedicated support you need to run a successful, profitable campaign, whether it’s your first fundraiser or your hundred-and-first.

99Pledges specializes in peer-to-peer fundraising and provides dedicated support, quick campaign setup, individual donation pages, progress tracking, and multiple donation options. It also allows organizations to fundraise without minimum amounts or platform fees.
Youth-oriented fundraisers are busy enough; you need tools that make your life easier, not harder. 99Pledges outperforms competitors like RallyUp by keeping things simple—while still delivering a professional experience.
Unlike RallyUp, which only offers peer-to-peer functionality as an add-on to other campaigns, 99Pledges specializes in engaging peer-to-peer “a-thon” events such as Walk-a-thons, Read-a-thons, and Fun Runs. What’s more, with 99Pledges, your team will get your own dedicated fundraising coach. RallyUp offers some support, but because their experts are trying to help everyone at once, you’ll be fighting to get their attention.
When you start your fundraiser with 99Pledges, we’ll automatically create individualized donation pages for each of your participants. RallyUp also offers personal donation pages, but users must enable this function themselves for it to work properly. This creates friction before your campaign even launches.
With 99Pledges, you can also track individual participants’ progress, creating an exciting air of competition that drives participants to secure more pledges.
A complicated giving experience discourages donors. Luckily, both 99Pledges and RallyUp allow you to accept multiple payment types, including credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. With either platform, you can also track cash and check donations.
However, RallyUp users have reported that their donors have encountered difficulties while trying to check out using the platform, struggling to navigate through a multi-step process. This confusion can negatively impact your earnings. On the other hand, 99Pledges makes it easy for supporters across the country to make flat donations or pledges.
From elementary schools and high schools to sports leagues and scout troops, hundreds of fundraising organizations have seen their fundraising results skyrocket after switching to 99Pledges’ free fundraising platform. In fact, our users typically double or even triple their earnings!
Our users’ success is driven by our user-friendly approach and advanced, built-in features, like:
Foster some healthy competition among your participants by sharing 99Pledges’ leaderboards with your team. Kids will love competing with their friends, and your fundraiser will raise even more!
99Pledges automatically sends donors tailored communications, including customized donation receipts and thank-you emails. Simple gestures of stewardship like these keep your donors coming back to your campaign year after year.
Easy-to-use administrative reports and leaderboards allow you to track your overall participation rate and progress toward your target so you can course-correct if you fall behind.
With 99Pledges, you’ll be able to market your campaign to and accept online donations from supporters worldwide! This dramatically increases your revenue.
99Pledges’ free fundraising platform elevates your campaign. Start your fundraiser today!
